We are currently seeking a Corporate Development / M&A - Remote based role in the US to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).

Corporate Development/ M&A Deal Lead - (investment banking or private equity leader with M&A who wants to work within Corporate Dev.)

NTT DATAs Corporate Development team partners with key executive and business unit heads to identify and execute targeted acquisitions/investment in support of our broader corporate strategy. The corporate development team is responsible for identifying, structuring, and executing acquisitions and we are seeking a Corporate Development Deal Lead as we continue to build the Corporate development team. This is an opportunity to contribute to a critical part of NTT DATAs growth strategy as part of a high impact team. This role will be remotely based in the US.

This person will be involved with full life cycle acquistions including sourcing, targeting, executive business relationship development, due diligence, etc. all the way to integration. This is an exciting role to be part of a corporate team collaborating to make the best investment decisions around acquisitions to meet strategic goals for a global organization.

Responsibilities include:

Responsible for sourcing and leading the end-to-end transaction process for targeted acquisitions
Identifies M&A opportunities by working with the Investment banker community and developing proprietary opportunities directly with target companies.
Evaluate benefits (inc. synergy potential) of potential acquisitions and works to lead the overall business case and transaction process.
Primary point of contract to target company management during the entire life cycle of the transaction
Leads negotiations on behalf of NTT DATA Services with regards to all acquisition activities
Lead cross functional teams through the M&A process across Finance, Human Capital, Legal, IT and outside advisors
Overseas diligence process including managing and orchestrating third-party diligence parties (e.g., accountants, lawyers, bankers)

Basic Requirements:

In order to support NTT DATA Services' long-term growth plans, the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate these required skills:

7+ years' experience in M&A / Corporate Development with prior experience leading all aspects of acquisition and investment in a technology/consulting related space
Deep experience and understanding of the M&A process, commercial diligence, and ability to execute transaction in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams and work effectively with senior executives with proven track record of executing successful deal
Holds a network of banking and company relationships in the consulting and IT Services space
Ability to manage all phases of complex transactions including sourcing, due diligence, structuring and negotiating the closing deals
Through knowledge of Corporate Development process with an ability to work in complex and dynamic environment
Independent Thinker with ability to think creativity and self-motivated
Excellent communication and relationship building skills.

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

7+ years' experience in M&A / Corporate Development
7+ years' experience all aspects of acquisitions within a technology/consulting related space
