About the Program
Maximus administers the Independent Practitioner Panel (IPP) program. The purpose of the IPP is to complete assessment reviews and issues practitioner orders for New Yorkers who qualify for long-term in-home care. This is an exciting new program that directly contributes to positive long-term outcomes for vulnerable populations in New York State.
IPP is adding five new positions to the Operations Support Department. We're looking for enthusiastic and engaged Operations Coordinators to join the program. In this position, you'll be working on a supportive team to manage and maintain Practitioner appointments and workflows. The Coordinator ensures that a Practitioner is assigned to the right case at the right time and helps remediate when changes need to happen. Additionally, the Coordinator provides administrative support for case documentation.
We're seeking individuals who are people-oriented with great customer service skills, efficient work practices, and strong attention to detail.

You'll need to have a High School Diploma or equivalent with at least two (2) years' work experience. You'll bring great interpersonal skills to the team, as well as demonstrate the communication skills to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization and outside the program. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct outreach to obtain pertinent consumer information and identify parties to receive notification of impending assessment appointment.
- Conduct timely outreach and meet productivity targets related to scheduling assessment appointments with all appropriate individuals identified and document all outreach activities for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Assist in coordinating last minute scheduling changes to ensure assessment appointments are completed and quickly communicate updates to appropriate parties.
- Provide administrative support to the Operations Support Management staff.
- High School diploma or equivalent with 0-2 years of experience in a customer service environment.
