Job Description

The Role:

You will facilitate interactive and engaging bystander intervention training delivered virtually and potentially in-person. 

You are immediately available and have ample flexible availability during the hours of 9:30am - 6pm EST Monday-Friday enabling you to accommodate a varied training schedule.

You will facilitate discussions with our amazing clients, enhancing learning outcomes and increases the likelihood that people will use what you teach them.

You will provide exceptional customer service. Our clients help to drive the work and the reach of our organization! You will be expected to work towards consistent positive client experiences by ensuring timely, responsive, and respectful communication and representing Right To Be values within client relationships.

You will solicit client feedback and celebrate success.  Trainers work to ensure our ongoing departmental progress by dispersing evaluations after every training engagement. This includes soliciting quotes or feedback to be utilized in future organizational efforts.  That feedback is then consolidated into a training report that demonstrates the impact of the training -- and is distributed to all clients after the training is completed.

Due to the training topic, you are a member of the Jewish community who is passionate about championing Right To Be’s mission and believes that everyone has the right to be who they are, wherever they are.

Timeline:

Immediate availability desired.  Anticipated end-date, approximately March 2024.

Compensation + Time Commitment:

$50/hr.  Anticipated time commitment: 5-15 hours per week dependent on the volume of training inquiries.

Requirements
  • At least 2 years experience facilitating interactive trainings;
  • At least 1 year experience working with at least one of the target populations: working professionals/corporate environments, youth, LGBTQIA+ or other historically marginalized communities,
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Experience delivering training in a corporate environment.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • A member of the Jewish community, given the topic.
  • Strong intersectional analysis and commitment to social justice.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to and passion for Right To Be's mission.
  • Excellent presentation skills, incorporating relevant technology (Zoom and Google Slides, for example).
  • A problem solver who is flexible and eager to give, receive, and integrate feedback.
  • Demonstrated client relationship management skills.
  • Professionalism, including punctuality and adherence to deadlines.
  • Ability to publicly represent Right To Be and serve as the “ambassador” for our mission, culture, and values.
  • A high degree of emotional intelligence, including the ability to proactively and directly address conflict in an effective and altruistic way.
