About the role:
Avalere Health is seeking a Consultant II with experience in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), real world evidence (RWE) generation, and/or real-world data analytics to join our Evidence & Strategy practice. Specifically, the candidate should have experience managing and conducting RWE and HEOR studies, research support (including development of study protocol, technical reports, statistical analysis plans, manuscripts, abstracts, etc.), interpreting quantitative and qualitative study results and conveying the results in lay English to a variety of audiences, survey research methods and other real-world data collection, and economic modelling. A growing subject-matter expertise in HEOR strategy, evidence generation strategy, and value assessment is also preferred.

Avalere’s Evidence & Strategy practice provides exceptional consultation, evidence, and insights on key aspects of healthcare – including real-world health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), RWE strategy, patient-centered value, primary research, shared decision-making, value-based care, and health equity for our clients.
Our mission is to improve quality of care, craft data-driven strategies, drive patient-centric outcomes, and ultimately provide the highest value to all our partners, including life sciences companies, payers, providers, and patient advocates. Our work is focused in 3 intersecting strategic pillars: Patient-Centric Value, Evidence & Analytics, and Healthcare Strategy. Underlying all work is a deep commitment to data-driven insights.
The Consultant II, Real World Evidence position, will support client engagements that inform business and evidence strategy and deliverables related to real world HEOR generation, data analyses and programming, analysis of patient insights from surveys, evidence strategy, as well as the development and testing of analysis plans and other clinical tools.
The ideal candidate would have detailed experience and knowledge working with healthcare data, and designing, managing, and executing peer-reviewed healthcare research, as well as interpreting evidence and communicating value for life sciences products. A background in healthcare research consulting or related experience is preferred.
