If you're looking for an opportunity that's authentic, meaningful and emphasizes living a balanced life, Covius is the place for you.The Mortgage Compliance Specialist is responsible for performing loan file reviews to ensure federal and state regulatory requirement and guidelines are met.Essential Functions:75% Analyze and review dataCapturing loan data from documents including but not limited to Mortgage, Note, Right of Rescission, Loan Estimate, Closing Disclosure, Good Faith Estimate, 1003, etcAnalyzing and capturing settlement fees for state and federal testingIdentifying potential problems within the underwriting administrative process and identifying compliance irregularities within the loan file20 % Workflow and processManage individual workflow to ensure daily volume and quality goals are metEvaluating the disclosure process including but not limited to the delivery, timing, required verbiage, execution and completeness of all State and Federal documentation.5% Other duties as assignedEducation:HS Diploma/GEDAssociate/Technical Degree PreferredExperience:1+ years in any area of the residential mortgage industry with familiarity of mortgage origination documentsEssential Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesMicrosoft OfficePreferred knowledge of TRID DocumentsStrong commitment to customer service and satisfaction;Excellent time management skills;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Detail-oriented outlook, coupled with ability to plan ahead and meet deadlines on time;Team player;Ability to multi-taskWorking ConditionsWork is performed in climate controlled indoor administrative office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, depending upon office or meeting location.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate.
