The incumbent will provide compensation related expertise to clients and the compensation team for assigned departments. Responsibilities include: evaluate new and replacement requests of non-exempt positions. Assist in writing effective job descriptions
Under minimal supervision, this job provides professional level support in the design and administration of the University of Pittsburgh's compensation practices, policies and programs including data preparation and analysis. Provides support and problem resolution to managers on compensation philosophy and practices. Bachelor's degree and two years' solid compensation experience to include job classification experience. Remote work and or hybrid schedule options available.
