Overview:
This job will compile, evaluate and analyze salary data during the job evaluation process. Consults with talent acquisition staff and hospital leadership when making recommendation for starting pay rates or changes to existing employees' pay rates. Reviews promotion and demotion requests to ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures. Using MarketPay, completes salary surveys and analyzes data to make recommendations for pay ranges for new jobs and changes to pay ranges for existing jobs to ensure market competitiveness. Advises employees, managers, and outside customers regarding salary-related concerns. Assists other compensation, benefits and HRIS staff with special projects as requested.At Childrens Mercy, we are committed to ensuring that everyone feels welcomed within our walls. Responsibilities:
Job evaluation and market review. Makes recommendations for placement of jobs into pre-established pay ranges.Reviews and makes recommendations for changes to individual employees and/or groups of employees pay rates as a result of a job evaluation, promotion, demotion or request for a salary adjustment. May assist managers and recruiters to determine starting salary for new employees.Using MarketPay completes local, regional and national salary surveys. Responds to internal requests for survey data. Conducts other salary-related surveys.Acts as a Compensation Business Partner within HR as well as to all leaders in the hospital.Reviews Infor actions to ensure proper documentation of base rate, FLSA status and other salary-related changes for each payroll cycle.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Business, or other related degree required1-2 years experience requiredHuman Resources, compensation, or finance experience requiredSHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, PHR and/or CCP Preferred

Starting Pay:
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $30.73, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home:
This is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at Childrens Mercy location. The incumbent must live in the Kansas City metro area.
