The primary purpose of this role is to support the Chief Commercial Officer, Head of Commercial Strategy and Operations with analysis of the commercial operations. This includes gathering, analyzing and interpreting information; writing, structuring and communicating recommendations and planning, monitoring and reporting on results. You'll also have the opportunity to present results to sales management and implement recommendations in collaboration with Commercial team members. What we're looking for and responsibilities: Gathering, Analyzing and Interpreting Data
: a key responsibility of this role will be to analyze client account data to uncover revenue and market growth opportunities. Data includes analyzing sales pipelines, account revenue, account intelligence (e.g. M&A activity, product launches etc.), competitor information and external databases such as eVestment and Morningstar Direct to provide actionable, commercial insights for senior leadership and client facing reps. Problem Solving
: identify problems and opportunities within the business and recommend solutions that help achieve the business' goals. Monitoring and Reporting:
set up dashboards and reporting to monitor and report on key metrics. Work with the commercial organization and IT to enhance workflows in order to capture relevant data and to visualize data for each relevant audience. Work with the commercial teams, technology and support to ensure quality and integrity of the data. Communication and Coordination
amongst teams and groups to gather needed information and feedback, ensure relevant teams are kept abreast of changes and progress and elevate any issues or roadblocks to completing projects on time. Proven ability to work successfully in a matrix organization required. Presentation Development:
assist with structuring and formatting presentations in PowerPoint for key account reviews, cross-divisional collaboration efforts, and strategy setting among other efforts.. Compensation/Benefits Information:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $68,300. to $155,900. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.

S&P Dow Jones Indices
- 1+ Years in Industry: Financial Services and/or Consulting
- 1+ Years in a Specialty/Discipline: Consulting, Strategy, Business Analysis
- Manages own work with hands-on supervision
- Impacts quality, timeliness of results, planning and revenues or budgets of own team and related teams
- Developed communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information
- Uses judgment based on practice and precedence and accurately defines problems by trying to understand underlying factors/causes.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively -verbally, in writing and visually - in English. Additional languages considered an asset.
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to balance daily duties and larger scale projects.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau or other data visualization tools a plus.
