Parsons works on top level Cyber Development projects for national defense programs and we are looking for an experienced Computer Network Operations (CNO), Cyber Tool Developer to join our teams in either Centreville, VA; Augusta, GA or Tampa, FL with hybrid or remote work options available. The CNO developer will develop innovative software code for new tools and capabilities in areas related to computer security, vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and product development. We need our software engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic in tackling new challenges.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Analyze, design, and develop computer software required to support new tools and capabilitiesDevelop and maintain low-level application and operating system projects related to software protection and host-based personal security toolsReview system architecture, and select and implement appropriate development and support tools to ensure product performance, as well as test and debug related softwareProvide our customers expertise to leverage their existing software and create new capabilitiesBe involved in quick reaction development with opportunities for customer interactionCollaborate with a team that is focused on developing superior products and encouraging the career growth of its membersRequired Qualifications:HS DiplomaMinimum 5 years Software Engineering experienceC/C++ proficiencyStrong Linux or Windows foundation/knowledgePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical fieldTS/SCI security clearanceExperience supporting US Government CNO missionsAssembly programming and analysis (of any major architecture)Experience working with debuggers and disassemblersStrong understanding of low-level operating system internals and driversExperience with both kernel and userland debuggingExperience with Windows and/or Linux APIs (POSIX, win32, win native)Experience with networking protocol analysis and socket programming (Windows and/or Linux)Familiarity with GitThe anticipated annualized full time target compensation (median) for this position is: $130,000.00.Benefits for this position include: medical, dental, vision, paid time off and 401K.
