Cloud Solutions Architect (TS/SCI) (2987)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Ability to design, amend, build both AWS infrastructure while maintaining DoD cloud and SCCA Architecture requirements
• Manage the technical delivery of cloud services that span storage, networking and compute cloud capabilities, with a deep understanding of each service across the full IT cycle
• Take end-user requests for new cloud applications and make recommendations on services to use for optimal performance and scale, as well as provision, ensure capacity, monitor and adjust as appropriate
• Convert the technical requirements of a project into the architecture and design that will guide the final product
• Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture
• Bridge the gaps between complex business problems and solutions in the cloud, while working with other members of the technology team, including DevOps engineers and developers, to ensure that the right technology or technologies are being built
• Instruct customers on both AWS and Azure Services
• Manage Cloud Infrastructure with IAC
• Navigate across various customers with a trusted advisor/consultative approach and to establish credibility quickly with senior level executives across the customer organization
• Communicate project information through presentations, technical reports, or white papers

Required Skills/Experience: 

• Active TS/SCI clearance, willing to sit for CI Poly
• 5+ years of technical experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences for collaborating with team members and customers.
• Security+ certification
• AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification

Desired Skills/Experience: 

• TS/SCI w CI Poly Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred- or equivalent years of experience and certifications
