My client are a global asset management company that focus on ESG & sustainability insights as part of their advisory/technology offerings. They have offices in several countries & are on the bleeding edge of sustainability tech within the finance world.

Description

As a Climate Research Director, you will:

  • Lead the research team for creation/development of technology products focused on climate data
  • Act as a subject matter expert in climate-focused areas surrounding fossil fuels, carbon, transition risks, green revenues, & more
  • Update and utilize knowledge surrounding the global state of ESG & climate trends within private markets
  • Collaborate frequently with product and marketing teams to improve products & update offerings
  • Engage in conferences/events to act as a company liaison

Profile

The ideal candidate brings:

  • a PhD or masters within a highly relevant field (environmental sciences, environmental engineering, energy, sustainability, etc)
  • 2-10 years' professional experience with a focus on climate/environmental sustainability
  • Professional or academic experience with programming, preferably Python and/or PostgreSQL
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
