Description

Summary:


Responsible for managing all aspects of advertising programs offered by Valpak Holding Inc.  Ensures a world class product and service experience for Valpak’s external and internal clients, to include Direct Response, Retail, Fortune 500 Grocery Retailers, Consumer Package Goods (CPG) and E-commerce organizations. Using excellent interpersonal communication, project management and analytical consultancy to retailers and CPG partners, this key contributor acts as the primary interface to drive collaborative engagement between all operating departments on behalf of the Valpak account executives and their clients.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Consultative and provides account strategy.
  2. Maintains extensive knowledge of all Valpak product offerings, from design to marketplace, to serve as the technical and implementation expert.
  3. Implements all aspects of Valpak sales campaigns, including all print, solo, and digital as well as CLEs, FSIs and other current and new products being sold across all Valpak sales teams.
  4. Lead and develop ongoing collaboration between client, Sales Director and Account Executive in communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on deliverables. 
  5. Develops and maintains a solid knowledge of Valpak products, create FAQs, and maintains information for external and internal stakeholders.
  6. Monitors contractual commitments, adjusts revenue projections, assists in payment collections and reports key activities to Account Executives and senior management.
  7. Prepares and performs detailed product demonstrations, researches and answers customer inquiries, runs ad hoc reports, performs market analysis, secures mailing geography, facilitates creative assets and process, and participates in post release verification process to ensure client objectives are met.
  8. Participates in sales and account calls as the Valpak product expert and provides input to clients and Account Executives on ways to maximize the benefit of our products to drive customer success.
  9. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, MIS or equivalent work experience in a business support, or technical team role. Previous experience as an account manager, project manager, analyst or product specialist in a media advertising agency within consumer insights, data analysis, Marketing, retail or CPG experience preferred.


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Ability to understand and relate to the consumer user experience.
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, commercial awareness & consulting skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of print, digital, mobile and social marketing platforms.
  • Experience using MS Office Suite including strong Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Attention to detail with excellent project management, organization, time management and multi-tasking skills within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal presentation, written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of Saleforce.com and SAP preferred.
