Job Description

Sunwest Pensions is a Metropolitan Phoenix based third party administrator (TPA) and recordkeeping firm specializing in the consulting, administration and recordkeeping of retirement plans. Formed in 1998, we provide clients with a flexible and innovative approach to qualified retirement plans. Sunwest Pensions is seeking an experienced Client Relationship Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for provide client service support as the main point of contact for plan sponsors and investment advisors. The ideal candidate will have pension/retirement plan administration experience, strong attention to detail, and superior customer service skills. The candidate must also have excellent organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.

Job Description:
The candidate must:


Provide client service support as the main point of contact for plan sponsors and investment advisors

Review client reporting to stay abreast of operational or compliance concerns regularly

Communicate compliance results to and follow up with clients during critical deadlines

Review distributions and loans, send year end data collection through Pension Pro

Adhere to internal procedures and checklists / projects

Provide backup support for other CRMs on the team and as needed for other CRM's on other teams

Receive, send, and follow up on census questions from Analyst until response is received

Draft and send all participant notices to clients with the assistance of Assistant Analysts

Identify website issues and coordinates with internal staff for correction

Maintain excellent internal notes and correspondence

Track and assists internal clients with meeting deadlines and goals for timeliness

Utilize internal and external resources to research answers to questions and issues

Performs other related duties as assigned or needed

Requirements
The candidate will:

Have 2 or more years' retirement plan client relationship management experience

Hold a bachelor's degree or comparable professional work experience

Demonstrate the knowledge of internal billing procedures and fee schedules

Display strong understanding of distribution features, eligilibity features, and have the ability to apply technical knowledge

Have the ability to gauge sensitivity of materials and apply security protocols as needed

Possess strong financial acumen and the ability to put accounting principles into practice

Have strong attention to detail, organization, multi- tasking, and follow up skills

Demonstrate superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Thrive in a team environment and be a positive team player

Have technology and computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), ASC and PensionPro

Have or be willing to seek and obtain industry certification(s).
