Job Description

Title: Change and Communications Manager
Location: 100% fully remote

Job Description:
The Change and Communications Manager role is responsible for the execution of the change management strategy, the delivery of transformational change initiatives and developing the core message and communications for the change.

PRIMARY ROLE:
• Drive the development and execution of a change management plan (including communications/engagement, coaching/training, and risk management plan) for an initiative or function.
• Work closely with the Executive Sponsor stakeholder and Program Director to develop appropriate installation and realization metrics which measure the progress of a transformational change plan.
• Responsible for managing the reporting mechanisms for progress, risk and mitigation plans and raising discussions at the appropriate leadership level.
• Work closely with the Project stakeholders and workstream leads to ensure transformation plans are culturally appropriate, integrated with the local and functional strategy and project plans, iteratively updated and improved and executed in an integrated way.
• Ability to write effective communications to support the comms plan.

RESPONSIBILITY:
• Proactively identify areas & opportunities where Prosci and other change tools, methods and skills can be deployed in service of business objectives and customer focus
• Provide subject matter consulting expertise on change management
• Build change capability at client's Coach/mentor change agent network; transfer change tools and skills
• Facilitate lessons learned sessions and other workshops as required
• Identify change risks and develop appropriate mitigations
• Maintain integrated (rolled up) change management/communication plans, appropriate risk reporting and progress reporting process tools within the established governance process.
• Diagnose and provide practical, just-in-time solutions for a variety of business issues (e.g. sponsor development)
• Contribute to design plans to enroll and develop sponsors; guide and facilitate execution of the plan, and manage planning for change management, communications, cascading enrollment, and capability transfer
• Liaise and collaborate with business units/operating companies and other SME's as appropriate to create integrated change solutions to business problems
• Drive the ongoing program-level assessment and mitigation planning to address people risks, provide coaching, monitor progress, & identify integration point
• Evaluate an organization's change readiness and ensure that assessment data collected influences the project plans and serves as a benchmarks for progress.
• Write executive and project communications that conveys why a change is needed, context and content.

Minimum Skill/Education:
Capable of developing positive relationships of trust with diverse and possibly resistant stakeholders
• Bachelor Degree (Change Management and Organizational Development related disciplines preferred).
• Good Experience in Change Management.
• Change Agent Trained/Certified (e.g Prosci) Preferred:
• Change Management and Organizational Development related disciplines preferred
• Project Management Professional/PMP Certified (PMI)
