Job Description

Business Systems Analyst

Summary
As the Business Systems Analyst , you will be responsible for translating business requirements and processes into technical requirements. You will join the Product Team and work directly with internal teams to understand requirements and collaborate with solution architects to produce technical specifications and support solution delivery. Your tasks will include interviewing stakeholders and gathering requirements, creating systems specification documentation, designing processes, and providing support to Development and QA teams. You will interface with Product Management, Client Service, data platform engineers, UX designers, data analysts, and the QA Team.
Responsibilities

  • Solicit and document business, data , and infrastructure requirements from product owners and supporting teams.
  • Author and socialize technical specifications and provide build-support to Development and Quality Assurance.
  • Deliver requirements as Agile epics, features, and stories.
  • Ensure technical requirements align and meet business objectives.
  • Ensure technical specifications are followed in development.
  • Work with SMEs to develop logical data models.
  • Deconstruct existing processes and procedures to create a baseline for future state requirements.
  • Create associated gap analysis.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience functioning as a Business Systems Analyst .
  • Proven track record of translating business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience working with ticketing systems (e.g., Azure DevOps or Jira).
  • Demonstrated understanding of SDLC processes and methodologies and adherence to set standards.
  • Detail- oriented and highly organized.
  • Task- oriented with an ability to work on tight deadlines.
  • Ability to spot and improve gaps in processes.
  • Proven success in completing projects independently.
