Position Summary

In support of the Global Managed Services (GMS) Line of Business, the Business Operations Analyst partners with our clients, internal customers, stakeholders, and teammates to champion requirements and improve the program's value streams' effectiveness and efficiency to produce desired outcomes. This key role contributes to program strategy and reports to the GMS Director.

Responsibilities

Primary subject matter expert of GMS' service value system including, engagement processes, practices, and continual improvement methods.

Being the client's voice, which requires understanding complex processes, design requirements, and utilization of technology.

Solicit, assess, prioritize, and translate desired business outcomes into technical solution requirements.

Develop test cases, perform test cases, and coordinate user acceptance testing with clients as needed.

Assist project managers and cross-functional teams with communications and coordination of deployments.

Assist with prioritization and assignment of the team's demand backlog of enhancements.

Lead incident management activities associated with programs' solutions.

Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile inconsistency and break down high-level information into details.

Create and maintain documentation as needed to maintain ISO certifications.

Perform Maturity assessments and SWOT analysis as part of continuous improvement.

Stay current on the technology utilized by the program.

Competencies

Skilled in crafting service management processes that address pronounced risk / weakness and recommendations for process improvements and implementation on a global and regional level.

Skilled in crafting business processes and workflows for communication across global and dispersed teams.

Must have a strong technical aptitude or background that would allow for understanding diverse and complex teams and business operations.

Ensuring operational and business processes and metrics (daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly) are clearly communicated, understood and achieved.

Enable a culture of continuous improvement, including actively challenging the status quo.

Lead by example, be approachable and demonstrate a "can do" attitude to develop a culture of team work to drive the achievement of goals.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to detect patterns and analyze disparate data. Excellent Excel graphing and data analysis required. Also strong in PowerPoint and Word.

Ability to interact, collaborate and build relationships with teammates, peers, clients, stakeholders, and every level of leadership to ensure operations are well represented and productive partnerships are maintained.

Ability to creatively solve problems with limited resources and input. Must be willing to rollup sleeves in order to accomplish tasks.

Ability to step in and troubleshoot processes that are inefficient, lacking, or need resolution within teams and across the organization.

Strong personal 'soft' skills such as empathy, listening, mirroring and communicating in different methods dependents on individual preferences.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
Minimum Experience

Ten years of Business Analysis within an IT or service provider organization.

Seven years of experience implementing service management solutions.

Solid technical knowledge, prefer hands-on administration or development experience with service management systems.

Recent success in a client/customer-facing role.

Education

BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.

Skills

Superior Excel, PowerPoint and Visio skills.

Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.

ServiceNow, Cherwell, Salesforce, Jira, experience is a plus.

ITIL Certification is a plus.

Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, multiple languages is a plus.

Solid organization skills in an evolving business environment.
