Nucor Skyline is North America's largest steel foundation construction products company, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Nucor Corporation (NUE), North America's largest steel manufacturer. Skyline is looking for a Business Development representative to join our Midwest Region Sales Team. The opportunity will be based in our Woodridge, IL (Chicago) sales office or remotely in the territory and responsible for the Midwest Region.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Prospecting and maintaining strong, effective, long-term relationships with agency and consultant clientele in the territory.
• Successful utilization of technical expertise to partner with our clients to determine the optimal steel foundation solution on a wide variety of applications.
• Industry marketing and education through technical presentations, conference attendance, trade organization participation, and overall active industry involvement.
• Identification and development of strategic opportunities for growth of the market for steel foundation products.
• Development of initiatives to promote Nucor Skyline into growth markets, and execution on those initiatives.
• Minimum travel of 50%, both local and overnight, is required

This is not a sales-quota based position.

Minimum Qualifications:• BS in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering
• 2 years of relevant steel or construction industry experience
