Business Development Program Manager
Overview of Position
The Business Development Program Manager reports directly to the Global Vice President of Business Development and Strategy and requires experience and demonstratable success in developing and managing complex cross functional programs. The right candidate excels at building programs from scratch and creating sound operating structure and processes.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
+ Responsible for overall executive dashboard-level scheduling, tracking, and reporting on programs driven by the business development team.
+ Responsible for developing formal structure and programs related to partnerships
+ Responsible for developing formal structure and programs related to innovation and growth initiatives
+ Responsible for developing formal structure to track milestones and status of contracts in negotiation.
What are the requirements needed for this position?
+ 5+ years of experience defining and managing complex programs or projects.
+ 3+ years of experience managing programs in a technical environment
What critical skills are needed for you to consider someone for this position?
+ Proven experience leading the creation of complex programs such as partner programs.
+ Excels at discovery, collaboration and consensus building with internal stakeholders on technical and business topics
+ Proven ability to organize initiatives from scratch and negotiate stakeholder buy-in
+ Maintains best practices for defining and tracking programs, and creating executive dashboards
+ Working knowledge of technical and financial concepts.
+ Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills within a multicultural environment.
+ Advanced problem solving and critical reasoning skills
+ Strong internal negotiating skills
+ Ability to make timely decisions
+ Ability to manage multiple projects that might be geographically widespread
+ Adept at Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
+ Bachelors Degree or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and/or work experience.
+ Strong personal energy and ability to energize others
What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?
+ General office demands/Home office
How much should I expect to travel?
+ Up to 20% travel requirement
