Your new company
We have recently partnered with a fantastic start up business based within beautiful offices in Shoreditch London. The company are expanding their sales team due to massive business growth and are seeking to hire several Business Development Managers to assist in further growing the company.

Your new role
The business is looking for an energetic, competitive and talented Business Development Manager to sell their corporate rewards credit card into the UK SME space.

This role will report directly to the Head of Sales and will work closely with many other internal departments as you support your own end-to-end on boarding process for your customers.

You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from outbound prospecting through to ramping up card spend. You'll be primarily speaking to SME owner-directors and finance managers.

This is an excellent product, which due to the incentives provided to the potential customers, ultimately sells itself.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 3-5 years B2B sales experience - preferably in cards or payments
  • Exceptional ability to understand, empathise and ultimately sell
  • Strong, analytical pipeline management to understand the work you need to put in at the top of the funnel to get out your desired results
  • Ambition to hit extremely challenging yet rewarding targets
  • A proactive, resilient and entrepreneurial mindset that enables you to experiment with different techniques and remain positive
  • A high-level understanding of the financial workings and business acumen needed to run a SME
