Business Analyst (Remote)

A New Jersey-based professional services firm has a great Remote opportunity awaiting a new Business Analyst. In this role, the Business Analyst (Remote) will be responsible for supporting a cross functional transformation initiative to improve the consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness of how clients and engagements are evaluated across the global organization.

Responsibilities:

The Business Analyst (Remote) will:

• Collaborate with Business Process Leads to gather high-level business requirements, documenting findings and decisions within acceptable standards and templates
• Perform requirements development, analysis, and create related documentation
• Translate requirements and work with IT on the development of implementation options to be then played back and serving as an interface to the business process leads
• Analyze the impact to integration points and ensure that design can meet the need
• Ensure traceability from business requirements through application testing
• Interface with the testing team and help them to prepare for testing
• Review test cases, and test scripts developed by the Testing team as well as perform spot checking to ensure functionality meets business requirements
• Become a SME with regards to application functionality and be able to validate if a reported issue is a defect or an enhancement
• Work with the other members of the Development, QA, Testing and Business teams to clarify requirements and application functionality
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of hands-on Business Analysis experience
• Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
• Proficient with industry-standards, structured business analysis techniques, and practices
• Experience with ServiceNow platform
• Experienced working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Microsoft Office Suite proficient (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
• Solid analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

Desired Skills:

• Experience with GRC and CSM modules
• Professional designation such as CBAP or PMP
• Business Process Management and/or LEAN Six Sigma experience
• Exposure to Azure DevOps
