End Client SCOR - (Reinsurance Company) Position Business Analyst - Reinsurance (100 REMOTE JOB) Duration 06 Months on W2 basis Please Note - Pay Rate - 41hr on W2 - With No Benefits They need to have reinsurance on the Life side of things Job Description The objective of this position is to support the Company's strategic and operating objectives through the timely and accurate support of business initiated reinsurance system enhancements, changes or improvements. To provide reinsurance system related business perspectives and insight to IT, Finance, Operations (Administration, Retrocession, claims), Business Acquisition (Treaty Underwriting) and Management. Key Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for the collection, organization, analysis, and communication of clear, concise and actionable business requirements for system changesenhancements. Provide IT with business information they need to estimate work effort and realistic timing for development and implementation of solutions based on requirements Work with QA and Users to ensure adequate test plans and to ensure user resources are available to test. Monitor progress, resolve issues and communicate statprogress to business stakeholders and management. Provide life reinsurance system expertise to various stakeholders ndash business and IT Coordinate the system related quarter and month end processes and schedules ndash communicating key dates to appropriate business users Work closely with Product Owner to identify, schedule and plan for larger business generated activities such as changes to internal business flows Continually assess the SDLC from business perspective to optimize control, accuracy and efficiency of user activities and user testing, recommending improvements as needed Foster continuous improvement in all areas related to the Life Reinsurance System, focusing on areas that impact users Work with other stakeholders and indirect users of the system, primarily non-US affiliates, to communicate impacts and address concerns May perform other duties as needed Required Experience Education Bachelorrsquos Degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Management or Information Technology, advanced degree preferred Strong Re-insurance, Insurance or Financial Services experience required ndash preferably in Operations, Accounting or IT Experience in system implementations, enhancements, modifications strongly preferred with a working knowledge of general IT practicesprocedures Excellent verbal written communication skills proven success communicating effectively at all levels of an organization Experience working with senior decision makers Strong organization problem solving skills, ability to manage multiple prioritiesprojects Demonstrated leadership skills ability to motivate and challenge colleagues Team player comfortable with a fast paced and remote work environment Proven analytical background Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred Thank you
