Job Summary The Business Analyst acts as a liaison between technology and the business lines for the creation and specification of business requirements (following EPO or other approved standards, templates and practices) regarding new business solutions or enhancements to existing business solutions. Facilitate business requirements explanation and analysis as well as documenting outcomes. Models business processes and extracts business rules from those processes. Identifies, specifies and documents functional test cases. Facilitates the definition and approach to vendor selection, assessment methodology and demonstration sessions. Prepares communication as necessary for technology and business lines.

Job Accountabilities

Facilitate business, functional and non-functional requirements explanation and analysis and document outcomes.
Proactively participates in the development of testing scenarios, test script creation and execution, when required.
Develop effective and efficient user interview questionnaires and workshop agendas.
Model business processes and extract business rules from those processes.
Identify and document use cases and use case diagrams. Create use cases/use stories/scenario design/use case diagrams.
Facilitate the definition and approach to vendor selection and assessment methodology. Facilitate vendor demonstration sessions.
Produce artifacts (work products and deliverables) required by the SDLC process and business requirements management methodology.


Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Experience

Less than 2 years Information Technology, financial or related functional industry experience Required
2-4 years Information Technology or financial industry experience with support of finance applications Preferred
Less than 2 years Knowledge of Project Development Life Cycle Methodology Preferred
