Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Biztalk Developer

Position type: Fulltime

Duration: 2+ Years

100% Remote Work

As a Biztalk Developer you will:

  • Responsible for designing, developing, creating schemas, maps, pipelines and orchestrations in Biztalk application
  • Consume and develop business requirements and create technical design and supporting documentation for data integration development
  • Develop data integration components including Proprietary formats, data mapping, XML, HL7 ,X12 file transfers and monitoring.
  • Create technical design documentation in adherence to business, source system, target system, and solution architecture requirements
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure data integration development and implementation is in accordance with other design components and meets end-state requirements and HIPAA compliance.
  • Understand the upstream and downstream data impacts and applies business rules used to govern data transformations
  • Build & test ETL mapping using Biztalk and SQL that is critical for the HIE and encounter source data
  • Troubleshoot, performance tune and monitor the data ingress and egress processes and build internal controls to maintain data quality
  • Deploy new upgrades and releases in production
  • Should be able to complete assigned activities with minimal supervision.
  • Support and Triage day-to-day operational requests on HIE, X12 including identifying any technical problems with sending/receiving transactions such as encounters, Clinical data
  • Coordinate with partners, health plans and internal departments to address setup or technical issues related to HIE and encounters
  • Work with end users and BA to ensure user acceptance testing is thorough and complete
  • Experience working with Agile tools and practices

Job Description:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in health care industry
  • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server, Integration Services, SQL, C# .Net, Web API, Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/2010/2012/2013, JSON,HL7
  • Strong experience in SQL development highly desirable
  • Experience with Biztalk mapping and setup
  • Experience working with HL7 data sets
  • Experience working with PHI and in a HIPAA compliant environment preferred
  • Experience with file transport services and mechanisms, i.e. FTP, SFTP, Secure File Transfer
  • Understanding of basic computing technologies/protocols, i.e. DNS, SMTP, PGP, TCP/IP, etc.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse processes
  • Knowledge in SQL Queries and Stored Procedure preferred


  • Experience and knowledge of FHIR
  • Experience with API services development experience
  • Experience with XML and SOAP-based architectures as well as RESTful web services
  • Kafka and data streaming experience
  • Experience with Mirth Engine
  • Biztalk Admin experience

Pay Range : $90000 - $115000 per year.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
