Headquartered in Austin, Texas (open to candidates 100% remote anywhere in the U.S), we are creating a modern competitor to TripAdvisor. Our goal is to create a worldwide social travel application where people can upload stories and pictures to describe their travels, destinations and experiences.
We are looking for a skilled Back-End Engineer with a strong background in Node.js and RESTful APIs. You will be responsible for creating RESTful APIs as well as PostGres, ElasticSearch, and working with or learning how to work with graph databases. Your responsibilities will include working on our application and ensuring we have quality code. We want this person to be capable of learning, able to adopt newer technologies, and someone who will be able to take ownership of the back-end! We have a team of about 10 and all work collaboratively in a team.
*This position is 100% remote- you can be located anywhere in the U.S*
