AWS Platform Technical Lead (Hybrid/Remote)

We have an immediate need for an AWS Platform Technical Lead to join a global leader in taste, scent, and nutrition. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the development and growth of our AWS platform, working closely with the platform engineering team and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Your expertise in cloud architecture and experience with AWS will be instrumental in delivering a stable, secure, and high-performing platform for our business.

Location: Union Beach, New Jersey (Hybrid) or Remote

This Job Pays: $200,000 - 225,000 annually

What You Will Do:

• Develop and maintain the AWS platform for the company.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and platform engineering team.
• Shape the cloud strategy and target architecture.
• Act as a trusted advisor to development teams and resolve challenges.
• Ensure stable, secure and high-performing platform for the business.
• Facilitate meetings and build strong relationships with teams and stakeholders.
• Facilitate engineering best practices conversations across development and infrastructure teams.
• Take ownership of infrastructure roadmap and direction of future engineering projects.
• Implement standardization and governance concepts such as AWS landing zones, SCP, and Config.

What Gets You The Job:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong experience and knowledge in cloud architecture modeling, with expertise in AWS technologies.
• Proven ability to implement standardization through AWS platform, using governance concepts and services such as AWS landing zones, AWS SCP, AWS Config, etc.
• AWS Cloud Architecture design, implementation, and migration experience.
• Thorough understanding of cloud architectures IaaS, PaaS and IaC.
• Experience in enterprise applications, solutions, and data center infrastructures.
• Experience with AWS cloud environment sizing, multi-region, disaster-recovery architecture for applications.
