Job Description

Associate Mobile Software Engineer - 100% Remote with Quarterly Travel (Company Paid) to HQ in Jacksonville FL to collaborate with and to build relationships with your Engineering teammates.

Our Client is looking for an innovative Associate Mobile Software Engineer who loves building scalable mobile applications. The ideal candidate easily picks up new languages, tools, and frameworks and enjoys collaborating with various teams across the organization.

As healthcare is continues to adopt mobile technology, our Associate Mobile Engineer should be passionate about the work they do and how it affects both end users and our team internally. They should bring new ideas to the table, question the status quo, and enjoy learning as a hobby.

Job Duties

  • Design, build, and test our Android and iOS applications
  • Work with software leads to validate designs
  • Collaborate with all teams in the organization
  • Successfully deliver software fixes and features

Experience and Education

  • 1 - 3 years of work experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong foundation in object-oriented programming
  • Mobile UI/UX experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of various design patterns and practices
  • Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
  • All around good communicator
  • Experience with one of the following or willingness to learn both:
    • Objective-C, Swift and Cocoa Touch Frameworks
    • Java and Android SDK

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with the following technologies:
    • OpenCV
    • C++
    • Android NDK
    • Enterprise application development with .NET
    • Agile

  • This is an exempt in-office role reporting into the Jacksonville, FL, home office or working remotely.
