About the role:

The Associate Manager, Inventory Planning will focus on ensuring OUAI’s location-specific inventory is optimized for accuracy and availability. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of inventory management best practices and has experience managing daily transactional activity and inventory reconciliation across multiple warehouses and manufacturing sites. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have intermediate to advanced Excel skills and analytical capabilities to make inventory-related recommendations. The ideal candidate must be curious, open to learning, utilizing new skills, and have a strong attention to detail. Clear and concise communication skills are required, along with the ability to prioritize workload.

Requirements

What you’ll do:

  • Daily NetSuite Transacting Posting
  • Facilitate/support Senior Manager with allocation process for low inventory SKU’s
  • Schedule cycle count schedules with our 3PL’s and contract manufacturers
  • Support Senior Manager with Month End consignment reconciliation

- Identify variances at Contract Manufacturer sites

- Analyze/identify root cause of variances at 3PLs

- Organize and review final variances with the Senior Manager

- Post detailed inventory adjustments in NetSuite

  • Refresh Planning’s end-to-end Planning file weekly

- Report on low-stock or at-risk SKUs weekly

  • Build and identify reason codes for out-of-stock
  • Monthly refresh of excess & obsolescence inventory
  • Manage short shelf-life inventory & make recommendations on run-out options
  • Coordinate and execute inventory disposals with 3PLs
  • Recommend SKU Purchases monthly and review with the Senior Manager
  • Recommend D2C 3PL inventory transfers monthly and enter in NetSuite
  • Provide monthly & ad-hoc inventory reports
  • Assist Senior Manager with Inventory related special projects & initiatives

What you'll bring:

  • 2+ years experience of inventory management & planning experience required (CPG manufacturing and/or distribution industry experience preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
  • Culture Code - We Aren’t Afraid to Go First - willing to take action and make things happen
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills are a must
  • NetSuite or comparable ERP experience preferred
  • NetStock or comparable planning system experience preferred
  • Strong Project Management skills able to build and meet timelines
