Country: United Kingdom Location: Remote Location London Role: Area Sales Manager (Service) Location: London Contract type: Full time, permanent Carrier now has an opportunity for an Area Sales Manager (Service), to focus on the London area. What will I be doing? Establishes prospects and develops a professional relationship to understand the customer needs and suggest products and/or services that meet the customer needs. Continuous professional development through company-provided and on the job training, including, but not limited to, business and finance, marketing, sales process and strategy, and public speaking Coordinate and/or participate in trade shows and marketing/sales seminars as and when required Pricing equipment & service solution offerings to prospective customers to grow the business In charge of developing new sales business within their geographical area, including offering a wider service offering with existing clients Evaluation of market potential, finding sales opportunities in other related sectors as well the focused markets already undertaken by the company. Estimate project opportunities and prepare proposals with contractors, FM, M&E and building owners Coordinate with vendors and sub-contractors Complete sales calls/meeting to generate new business and build on existing relationships Present solutions to customers for consideration and secure new contracts for the company Requirements We are looking for people who are good communicators (verbal, written and presentation), self-motivated, target & objective focused; time management and organisational skills, negotiating skills, strategic planning, flexibility and adaptability, enthusiastic and positive outlook, working within an expanded team supporting other departments for overall benefit of the business, commitment to customer service excellence. As a minimum you must have: Strong service sales background Familiarity with the Chiller, HVAC or Heat-Pump marketplace is a bonus or demonstrate the ability to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to be successful.
