Job Description

Chesapeake Hospitality is looking for a dynamic and driven Area Director of Revenue Management to oversee all of the revenue management needs for approximately 4-8 hotels within the Chesapeake Portfolio. You will report to the Vice President of Revenue Strategy. While the Area Director of Revenue Management position is remote, you will be required to travel to the corporate office or assigned properties as needed. As an Area Director of Revenue Management, your responsibilities will be to:Work directly with the General Manager and Director of Sales at the property level to maximize revenues and achieve set budgetary financial goals as well as show continuous market share gain.Lead direction and change in any revenue management discussions with the property and the brand.Lead weekly strategy meetings utilizing all available Revenue Systems and Tools. Examples include Brand Reporting, PMS Reporting, Day by Day Forecasting/Budgeting in ProfitSage, Rate360, Agency360, Demand360, Market SegmentationReporting, OTA platformsand Channel Distribution Reporting.Instill the Chesapeake Hospitality Revenue Management culture and ensure a continued focus on hotel profitability through effective pricing, yielding, market segmentation, inventory management and use of all available revenue management resources.Monitor competitive rates and market position daily. Evaluate and adjust pricing for entire annual booking window as needed.Conduct daily review to assess strategy changes this usually includes a system review of daily pickup, regrets/denials, market pricing, inventory strategies, overselling and demand pattern changes.Communicate daily with the Hotel Leadership teams and assigned Chesapeake Corporate Regionals as well as the VP of Revenue Strategy.Full participation in all Corporate Revenue Management Department meetings and discussions.

A passion for revenue management and competitive drive for relentless top-line revenue improvement and overall profitability success at the hotels.At least 3+ years of multi-property experience with a direct focus on revenue management required.Marriott and Hilton revenue management experience required.Exceptional analytical andproblem solvingexpertise.Superior time management and organization skills.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, computers, and systems.Ability to works well under pressure and with a high sense of urgency.Excellent industry reputation and interpersonal communication skills.College degree preferred.CHRM/CRME designation preferred.
