A North Carolina-based services organization is currently seeking an experienced IT professional to join their team Remotely as their new Application Support Manager. In this role, the Application Support Manager (Remote) will be responsible for leading a Development team accountable for developing industry-leading enterprise-level applications.
Responsibilities:The Application Support Manager (Remote) will be responsible for managing and coaching a team of developers, including:
- Interviewing & hiring
- Goal setting
- Providing training and feedback
- Conducting performance reviews
- Recognizing positive contributions
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Development experience in designing, developing, troubleshooting, testing and maintaining elements of a modern n-tier application, using .NET and Java tools and technologies
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Heavy experience with .NET and Java
- Incident Response experience such as handling outages, triaging, analyzing logs, and identifying resolutions
- Experience writing own SQL queries
- Knowledge and understanding of Kabana/Elastic Search/Splunk
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
