About the role:
As an Application Engineer, you will join the Altium 365 Customer Response team responsible for cloud and on-prem products, integrations with PLM systems and Altium's solutions.
A Day in The Life of Our Enterprise Application Engineer:
- Knowledge Building: Enhance the team's understanding of cloud, on-prem, and PLM systems and their applications.
- Test Instance Management: Set up and maintain test instances of various software systems and their versions.
- Customer Issue Resolution: Analyze, propose, and implement solutions for customer issues and related requests.
- Roadmap Influence: Contribute to shaping the product development and integration roadmap by providing insights and recommendations based on customer feedback and industry trends.
- Documentation and Training: Assist in developing comprehensive technical documents, knowledge base articles, and product training materials.
Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:
- Enterprise-Level Experience: Proven experience in deploying or supporting enterprise-level solutions.
- System Administration, Scripting: Experience with system administration, scripting and automation will be helpful in the role
- ECAD/EDA Knowledge: Familiarity with ECAD (Electronic Computer-Aided Design) and EDA (Electronic Design Automation) integration flows is a strong advantage.
- Engineering Background: Preferred qualifications in adjacent engineering domains such as electronics, electrical, software, or mechanical engineering.
- Systems Architecture Understanding: Strong grasp of enterprise systems architecture, including data flows and processes.
Communication Skills: Proficiency in English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Locations: Poland only - remote mode or hybrid in Katowice/Wroclaw
