Job Description
Our client is looking for an Application Developer (VB6) to join their team. This role is remote.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience developing applications in VB6 with experience in Event Handler and Class Objects. Experience building vb6 event COM component to subscribe to Oracle DB events such as triggers and table insertion
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL and Developing DB objects including tables/triggers/packages/indexes.
- Excellent communication, with demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
The candidate will be responsible for further development of a VB6 application including maintenance and bug fixing. The candidate will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle including: requirements gathering, analysis and specification, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance. The application developer works closely with business partners and business analysts to understand requirements that drive the design of quality technical solutions.
