At ManTech International Corporation, you'll help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Application Developer to join our team at Scott AFB, IL or Work Remotely from your Home.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Designing, developing, coordinating, and maintaining all aspects of the delivery of solutions for an established mobility system.Partnering with the stakeholders to achieve mission priorities through innovation critical thinking, collaboration, and proactive risk management.Providing end-to-end support on software development projectsMonitoring and tuning software solutions on a regular basis to identify and remedy issues.Developing, implementing, and testing software solutions.Partnering with customers to gather requirements through understanding of customer users' data/analytics needs and challenges.Maintaining and ensuring availability of software across multiple production and development environments.Maintaining security and integrity controls and formulate policies, procedures, and standards relating to software development.Supporting the implementation of all required security updates as directed by applicable STIGs.Proactively identifying and communicating issues, risks, progress to customer, contractor team, and IT stakeholders, providing options and next steps.Developing and updating informal and formal documentation and software architecture products.Developing and migrating existing web servicesBasic Qualifications:Java, C#/or C++, JavaScript/HTML5 Framework (EXT/JS, Angular, React)Oracle PL-SQLWeb services (WDSLs, schemas, XSDs, XML, REST API, JSON)Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, computer science, management information systems, or related field4 or more years of work experience in complex systems design, programming and systems software and supportWork is remote, but candidates local to the Scott AFB/St. Louis area preferred; strong remote candidates will be given considerationStrong understanding of software development lifecycle practices and secure software development.Superior customer serviceStrong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills in a dynamic customer centric environmentHighly motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environmentDisplays a customer-centric attitude with a high level of energy and sense of urgencyStrong team and collaborative orientationWillingness and ability to learn new technologies as neededAbility to work independently as a member of a geographically diverse teamExcellent problem-solving skillsSecurity Clearance Requirements:Must be a U.S. Citizen with a Public Trust or more preferably an Active DoD issued Secret or higher Security Clearance.Physical Requirements:The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
