A Data Analyst will work under the mentorship and direction of the Data Analytics Manager to carry out analytics duties.This position contributes to the overall success of the Data Analytics Team by performing essential functions that provide the team with accurate and timely data and analysis. A successful data analyst will focus on data quality, being timely in their deliverables, escalate issues to their manager in a timely fashion, and be a team player.Primary Accountabilities: Strategic and Analytical (100%)Interpret data, analyze results using analytical techniques and provide ongoing reports from the Unified Item Master.Provide updates, product and attribute classification, and new item inserts for the Unified Item Master.Identify, analyze, interpret patterns or trends in complex data sets using analytical problem-solving skills.Ability to filter and clean data by reviewing files from primary and secondary sources.Ability to perform detailed work with qualitative and quantitative data sets that produce actionable insights.Work with teams to prioritize both business and information needs.Focus on continuous improvement by supporting activities that improve processes and deliverables.Become a student of the business, keeping abreast of any retail/grocery industry trends and new methodologies.Required Qualification: Required: Bachelors degree and 1+ years of related work experience in data analytics, grocery/retail/CPG industry experience.
