Job Description

The Accounts Payable Administrator works as the lead of Accounts Payable process on daily detail maintenance and data integrity of Accounts Payable Sub-Ledger (transactions include functional and foreign currency) for the U.S. and Canada.

Our team and most positions are located in the Pittsburgh, PA area and we are looking for candidates in the United States. This role is currently remote.

  • Process vendor invoices
  • Process vendor credit memos
  • Process payments
  • Handle Accounts Payables inquires - both internal and external
  • Maintain signature card approvals
  • Interface Sub-ledger to General Ledger daily
  • Reconcile Sub-ledger to General Ledger monthly
  • Help with monthly global intercompany reconciliation process
  • Monthly close of Accounts Payable Sub-Ledger
  • Work with purchasing department to process purchase orders, enhance process and resolve issues
  • Annual filing of required IRS forms (1099, 1096)
  • Provide Sales and Use-Tax information
  • Play key role in AP process re-engineering (including special projects)
  • Play key role in AP Module implementations and/or upgrades
  • Assist in the setup, functioning and maintenance of the AP Module
  • Understand future capability of the module
  • Problem solving with setup and other issues
  • Work closely with other teams in DDI and support other accounting related functions
  • Be a resource to others within the organization, both domestically and internationally
  • Assist with standardization of AP processes worldwide

Relevant Qualifications

  • At least two years related experience
  • High attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Ability to learn Company specific accounting systems
  • Experience with foreign currency and intercompany transactions a plus
  • Experience with Oracle a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree
