Our Accounts Assistant will be an integral part of our Finance team in EMEA. This role is based remotely in the UK or Ireland.

The Opportunity
As a Accounts Assistant you’ll be responsible for understanding the Cloud invoices of DoiT’s customers worldwide and matching them against the financial reports. You’ll work with Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud reps while applying your knowledge in the purchase process. You must be organized and have an excellent eye for detail as you’ll be working with big data and improving automatic financial processes in the ERP. You must be reliable and able to carry out tasks autonomously and collaboratively.

Accounts Payables:
  • Manage Accounts Payables for vendors with significant transaction volumes simultaneously across 20 companies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate uploading of invoices to the ERP system for all entities.
  • Process payments via wire transfer and credit cards following company policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate intercompany transactions to allocate payments between different entities accurately.
  • Conduct vendor reconciliations, collaborating internally with various departments and externally and work closely with AWS to investigate and resolve differences in reconciliation, ensuring full reconciliation is achieved.
Accounts Receivables:
  • Issue invoices to customers (using internal automated processes and occasional manual invoices when needed)
  • Manual adjustments to the invoicing process
  • Perform reconciliation between the uploaded files and the revenue section of the financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support customers and internal teams with billing inquiries, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
  • Collaborate closely with the finance team to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in the accounts receivable process.
  • Recognize any issues within the process and take steps to rectify them.
  • AAT or ACCA training 
  • Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Experience with an ERP system 
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Excel
  • Great access to technologies and new tools
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Self-organized, goal-oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough and tenacious
  • Analytical, data-driven, detail-oriented and able to “zoom” in/out from the big picture to the minutiae
  • Ability to effectively operate flexibly and independently  in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
  • A great sense of humor and enjoys having fun at work

  • Experience with Google Sheet
  • Experience working in global companies
  • Experience in Netsuite is a plus
