Professional Services _ Accounting project leader position is available in Pasona

* Job Description:

- Process full accounting tasks such as accounting payable, account receivable, bank reconciliation, monthly/yearly closing including adjusting journal entries and create financial reports for multiple clients

- Manage assigned projects as a project leader and review procedures, profit, client expectation, renew agreement, train project members etc.

- Communicate/interact with clients, sales department, and project members in order to meet our clients' expectation

- Process some tax filings and payments such as estimate taxes, sales/use taxes, 1099/1096 for multiple clients

- Examine and improve existing accounting procedures of the assigned projects

- Ensure quality of customer services

- Perform general accounting duties and data entry as assigned

- Implement new accounting projects including accounting system implementation for clients

- Participate in internal projects as assigned

- Other duties as assigned

* Requirement:

- Ability to read, write and communicate professionally in Japanese and English

- Associate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required

- Accounting major or degree is preferred

- 5+ year of full-charge accounting experience including month-end closing is required

- Minimum of 5 years of recent and relevant US based full charge bookkeeping experience (such as a CPA Firm), for multiple clients is a plus

- Comfortable with learning new systems and ability to respond to changes in the IT environment flexibly, not afraid of challenge

- Challenging mind and adjustable with new project

- Work accurately in a fast-paced work environment

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word

- Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage 50 or other ERP systems are preferred

- Project management skills: utilize teamwork and lead 2 or more team members

- Prioritizing, multitasking, time management, customer service minded

- Work from home with independently
