Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Manager/Controller to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers competitive compensation and benefits packages. As an Accounting Manager/Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting department, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. You will work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting regulations
• Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process
• Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Provide guidance and support to other departments on financial matters
• Manage the year-end audit process and work closely with external auditors
• Implement and maintain accounting software systems, including QuickBooks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification required
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting, preferably with a Big 4 firm
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting regulations
• Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
