Summary: Responsible for performing general clerical and administrative duties including using computer hardware and software to review documents and generate reports. Assists Account Managers with projects, activities, and provides support to the overall Account Management department.Essential Functions:Assist Account Managers with client/broker issues Assist Account Managers with PBM prescription benefits, changes, & issues Assist Account Mangers with PPO issues Assist in responding to client/broker questions and/or complaints Assist Account Managers, clients, brokers and employees with ELAP issues and concerns, balance bills and pre-pays Assist in preparing reports for Account Managers, Clients, and Brokers Point of contact for Account Managers when they are out of the office Assist with enrollment meeting if needed Request reports as directed by the Account Managers or send out already produced reports at the request of the Account Manager, Group and/or Broker Log and research call logs Assist in spread projects as requested by the Manager or the Director of Account Services Perform other duties as assigned Perform all tasks in accordance with HIPAA/PHI guidelines Complete HIPPA training annually Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Licenses and/or Certificates: Must possess a valid driver license, proof of automobile insurance and a clean DMV record. Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as HIPAA compliance, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and policy and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to other employees of GPA, Brokers, clients, vendors, and customers.Math Ability:Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics and fundamental accounting principles. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
