As the Account Executive, you will support and drive our outbound sales strategy and work cross-functionally with stakeholders to deliver value-added solutions to our customers. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Develop new opportunities and manage the sales pipeline
  • Effectively prospect a sales pipeline by researching and communicating with targets via email, calling, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other methods
  • Help drive value-creating insights, recommendations and solutions
  • Build new relationships for GXO Direct with enterprise retailers and brands
  • Update internal tracking and reporting systems throughout the day to maintain accuracy in sales and volume metrics
  • Support the continuous optimization of the sales process and workflow
  • Work cross-functionality with stakeholders across the organization to improve the product offering and customer experience

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience

It'd be great if you also have:

  • 2 years of professional sales experience
  • 2 years of experience in transportation or Third-Party Logistics (3PL)
  • B2B sales experience and or experience of working or selling online retail
  • High level of expertise and understanding of eCommerce
  • Software sales experience
  • Ability to independently build and manage a sales pipeline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling value propositions
