About the project: 

We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our team and manage and own our Data Center and Public Cloud networks. The ideal candidate will have the crucial role of ensuring the transition to Public Cloud goes smoothly from a network perspective and will oversee the decommissioning of physical Data Center facilities. 

You will be able to: 

  • Manage the relationship with Network Managed Service Provider (MSP) Vendor: Coordinate with external vendors to ensure smooth operation of network services and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). 
  • Manage DNS, ARIN, RIPE: Oversee domain name system (DNS) management and IP address allocation through organizations. 
  • Manage, configure and implement F5 Load Balancers, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Cisco Switches: Design, configure, and deploy network solutions using industry-leading technologies, including F5 Load Balancers, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Cisco Switches. 
  • Manage Akamai configurations and deployments: Maintain Akamai configurations for content delivery and optimize performance through deployments and updates. 
  • Manage Circuit vendors and contracts: Coordinate with circuit vendors to provision, troubleshoot, and manage network circuits, ensuring connectivity and performance.  

Additional Responsibilities: 

  • Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions to maintain optimal network performance. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and project requirements. 
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to propose and implement network improvements. 
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. 

What will help you succeed in this role: 

  • 6+ Years of experience working as Network engineer or related roles. 
  • 5+ Years of experience configuring and managing F5 Load Balancers, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Cisco Switches. 
  • 2+ Years of experience working with DNS management. 
  • 2+ Years of experience working with IP address allocation. 
  • 2+ Years of experience working with Content delivery networks (CDNs) such as Akamai.
