Title: Project Manager III - Workday
Location: Work from Home
Note: This role is NOT open to C2C candidates
The Project Manager III will be responsible for developing, refining, validating, and managing project plans to ensure on time and on budget delivery of major technology initiatives across the enterprise. They will specifically be responsible for managing the book of business and testing track for the Workday Testing Team's projects, supporting a global IT rollout of the project. The Project Manager will not be conducting testing hands-on, but must be familiar with the process. They will build metrics, provide project leadership, and support all leads on their way through COE tech plans or sub plans under the master tech plan.
Additionally, the Project Manager will be Responsible for;
• Utilizing project management methods, standards, integrations, as well as coordination of internal and external resources required to complete assigned projects
• Providing timely and concise communications to functional leadership regarding project statuses and pending issues
• Analyzing processes and making recommendations for optimizing resources and product delivery
• Developing project plans based on specifications provided by Portfolio Management staff and managing effective execution of initiatives
• Building consensus among multiple process leads, relative to project scope, task execution, staffing, and issue resolution
• Brokering services with vendors on behalf of the business area represented
• Providing overall financial direction for projects to manage the development of budgets, controls, and measurements to monitor project progress
• Identifying potential risks within the project, and proactively managing issues
• Participating in identifying project costs, resource allocation, project schedule changes, and issue escalation
• Performing related duties, as assigned
