Remote schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
We are in search of a Payroll Tax Processor in our Reno, NV office. To be successful you should bring with you an analytical mindset with strong critical thinking skills. You must have an aptitude to seamlessly flex between multiple payroll processes.
You will be part of an operation that is customer-obsessed. You will be responsible for solving complex payroll tax issues accurately and timely for Federal, State, and Local tax agencies while effectively supporting a critical function for our payroll business.

The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge of business, finance, accounting, or tax Basic knowledge of tax laws, tax concepts and familiarity with form 1040 and schedules Strong customer service skills with ability to empathize and instill confidence. Prior tax preparation experience in a retail setting a plus. Some experience providing support in a call center environment a plus. Strong Research skills and the ability to quickly use online resources to find answers. Critical thinking, and problem solving. Persistence and determination. Willingness to utilize audio/visual tools to communicate with customers. Comfortable interacting with customers through video, in a professional way that represents the Intuit TurboTax brand well. Friendly and reassuring on camera Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills (written & spoken) a plus.
•Provide World Class customer service for established clients, answering questions related to payroll, tax filing and associated processes.
•Work with moderate supervision using detailed instructions on assignments, which require research and analysis to resolve any and all applicable issues, escalating issues when necessary to the next level of support.
•Communicate with clients, customers and upper level management utilizing provided software.
•Process documents and assignments efficiently.
•Maintain performance results and support strong communication skills in a virtual environment
•Knowledge of general tax regulations, compliance, and tax payments.
•Knowledge of government agency filing systems.
•Financial, analytical and computer skills required

•High school, GED is required. Higher level education or is preferred.
